The Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo) 2025 is approaching, organized by the Colombian Book Chamber and Corferias, which will take place between April 25 and May 11. The program will have two key days for business: April 28 and 29, with the International Business Show, a space in which agents in the sector (literary scouts, editors, agents, distributors, librarians, etc.) coming from different countries, they will meet to manage the purchase and sale of books, publishing and translation rights, as well as other editorial services.

Guest Fellowship program - FILBo Book Fair

Rory Williamson

United Kingdom

Editor at Pushkin Press, where he publishes contemporary and classic fiction and nonfiction. He has worked with notable authors such as Benjamín Labatut, Gabriela Wiener, Agustina Bazterrica, Leila Guerriero, and Pedro Lemebel. Rory reads in Spanish and is especially interested in unique literary styles and queer and feminist perspectives.

Baha Sonmez

Türkiye

Redhouse is the general manager of Redhouse and a board member of the Turkish Publishers Association, where he leads the committees for children and youth books. He has managed the sale of rights to works in more than 20 languages and participated in important international fairs such as Bologna, Frankfurt, Guadalajara and Gothenburg. Redhouse, founded in 1861, is especially known for its children books.

Majid Jafari Aghdam

Iran

Managing Director of Pol Yainci, he combines his experience as an editor, translator, writer and poet. He has managed the translation and publication of hundreds of Iranian and foreign books, participating in more than 50 international fairs. Author of 24 books and winner of awards for his work in translation, he is a cultural icon in Iran and Türkiye.

Niyazi Khidirov

Azerbaijan

International Rights Manager at Libra Kitab, a publishing house specialising in children·s literature. With a background in International Relations, he promotes the cultural and educational value of books for young people, expanding the global reach of the publisher·s catalogue and developing projects to encourage reading in his country.

Massimiliano Bonatto

Italy

Editor of Spanish and Latin American literature at Polidoro, he translates fiction and non-fiction. He has brought authors such as Mónica Ojeda, Giuseppe Caputo and Vanessa Londoño, among others, to Italy. He also works as a literary scout and collaborates with international festivals such as Gender Bender.

Corinna Santa Cruz

Germany

Editor at Buechergilde Gutenberg and specialist in Latin American and Spanish literature. She has worked with authors such as Pedro Lemebel, Samanta Schweblin and Horacio Castellanos Moya. She also leads literary translation workshops and presents events with Spanish-speaking writers, consolidating a cultural bridge between Europe and Latin America.

Benjamin Burguete

France

Born in 1995 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, he studied art history and philosophy in Paris. His professional career includes working at the literary agency BAM, at the publishing house Le bruit du monde, and joining Grasset Editions in 2023, establishing himself as an emerging figure in the French publishing industry.
