The FILBo Professional Conference
One of the Professional Conference·s main objectives is to create training spaces and specialized meetings aimed at all stakeholders in the book ecosystem: editors, illustrators, proofreaders, translators, librarians, and others.

Book Fair Network Meeting
Meeting of literary event leaders from the country, designed to strengthen networking, promote collaboration among industry players, and generate connections with international peers. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Knowledge, through the National Library of Colombia.

International Meeting of Librarians.
A space for dialogue and learning in which librarians from different regions of Colombia and internationally share experiences, present success stories, address key issues in the sector, and strengthen their collaborative networks. This activity is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Knowledge, the National Library of Colombia, the Bank of the Republic, BibloRed, Fundalectura, Asocajas, and the Biblioteca Pública Piloto.

Book Forums
A professional development space for various stakeholders in the book supply chain, focusing on key and current issues for the publishing industry. Through panels and conferences with national and international experts, practical and specialized training is offered. The topics are defined annually based on the challenges and needs of the publishing ecosystem. This space is supported by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and CERLALC.

Illustration Masterclasses
A training space for illustrators, students, and the general public interested in editorial illustration. Through an intensive workshop, techniques, creative processes, and narrative strategies related to illustrated books are shared by renowned national and international professionals. This class offers a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the craft, explore different perspectives on imagery in books, and engage in dialogue with industry experts.

Comic Book Professionals Forum
A space for meeting, reflection, and action aimed at those involved in the comics ecosystem: creators, editors, researchers, disseminators, and cultural managers. The forum seeks to strengthen this creative sector through dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and the creation of opportunities that promote its sustainability, circulation, and professional development. This forum is held in partnership between FILBo and Entreviñetas.

V Forum of Editorial and Literary Translation
With the support of the Colombian Association of Translators, Terminologists, and Interpreters (ACTTI), FILBo organizes a forum dedicated to the analysis of topics, profiles, and trajectories that permeate the practice of translation. This forum is aimed at translators, editors, teachers, students, and anyone interested in the field of editorial and literary translation.

National Meeting of Copyeditors
A training space for people interested in the formal, technical, technological, and material aspects of proofreading. It is designed to strengthen the skills and knowledge of those working or training in this essential field for editorial quality. This event is held in partnership with the Colombian Association of Copyeditors (Correcta).

International Booksellers· Meeting
A space for dialogue and collaboration between Colombian booksellers and their international peers, aimed at sharing experiences, reflecting on the sector·s challenges, and strengthening bookstores, especially in local and regional contexts. This meeting is held with the support of the Colombian Association of Independent Bookstores (ACLI).

FILBo Emprende
This call seeks to strengthen emerging publishing ventures through a comprehensive training process on the challenges, opportunities, and dynamics of the book production chain. Upon completion of the training, and through a pitch session, some of these ventures are selected to participate in a collective booth at the following year·s FILBo, as part of their projection and consolidation in the sector. This initiative is carried out in partnership with the District Institute of the Arts (IDARTES) and the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.

Ilustropia: Portfolio Review
A meeting and training space for emerging illustration talents. Through a pre-opening call, portfolios of emerging illustrators are selected. During FILBo, they have the opportunity to present their work to established illustrators, editors, and industry experts. More than a review, Ilustropía is a boost toward the professionalization of new graphic voices. This initiative is carried out in partnership with Casa Tinta.

International Seminar on Copyright
An academic space that brings together national and international experts to address key copyright topics, such as global trends, case studies, and new business models. It is aimed at authors, artists, entrepreneurs, cultural managers, lawyers, students, and the general public interested in delving deeper into this field. This event is supported by the National Copyright Directorate.
