What is the International Business Show?
FILBo becomes the epicenter of publishing business in the region during the first half of each year. To this end, it provides the different agents in the sector with a strategic space to buy and sell books and publishing and translation rights, as well as other editorial services.

Who is the International Business Show aimed at?
The sale of tables is aimed at different national and international sector agents interested in doing business with other businessmen, exhibitors and national and international visitors to FILBo 2024.

In 2023, for example, 701 meetings were held in which businessmen from 55 countries (Germany, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay, among others) met with 72 FILBo exhibitors.
Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber will review the profiles of interested parties in order to establish a balance between supply and demand.
By purchasing each table, visitors to the International Business Show will have the possibility of scheduling appointments every 30 minutes, through an appointment platform, with businessmen, exhibitors, Fellows of the Fellowship Program and other national and international agents who will visit us during the event. FILBo exhibitors and members of the Colombian Book Chamber can participate in the International Business Show to schedule appointments with the companies that have purchased a table. The selection of these companies will be in charge of the Colombian Chamber of Books and Corferias and will be communicated sufficiently in advance so that they can upload their information to the appointment scheduling platform.
What are the costs of the International Business Show?
Rates may refer only to the table or include the table and the hotel stay. If you require additional nights to stay at the FILBo for more days, you must inform the Colombian Book Chamber so that the hotel can apply the preferential rates offered by the FILBo. In any case, this amount would not be paid through FILBo but directly to the hotel.
How does the International Business Show works?
First. February. Expression of interest.
Companies interested in acquiring a table in the room had to fill out a form which It has already been closed; With this information, it is being evaluated that there is a point of balance between supply and demand.
Second. As of March 15, 2024: payment gateway.
Once the Colombian Chamber of Books and Corferias approve the profiles of the interested companies, the Chamber ;mara send the link to pay. We are currently notifying the selected companies.
Third. Starting March 18, 2024: creation of profiles
Once payment has been made, Corferias notifies entrepreneurs to create their company profile in The platform, where they detail their economic activity and the purpose of their visit (purchase, sale or purchase and sale).
Fourth. From April 1 to 16, 2024: appointment scheduling
After completing the data on the platform, you can start scheduling appointments with the registered profiles, in advance of the development of the International Business Show.
Fifth. April 18 and 19, 2024. International Business Show
Appointments previously scheduled by the platform will be held every 30 minutes, in the Bosque room of the Hilton Hotel. When you arrive at the lounge, you will be told The permanent table that has been assigned to you to hold appointments scheduled in advance or those that need to be scheduled during the two business days.
What are the benefits of participating in the International Business Show?
- Access to business opportunities with a wide selection of entrepreneurs from various countries.
- Each participant in the International Business Show receives two credentials:
— An entry credential to the fairgrounds during all days of the FILBo (April 17 to May 2, 2024).
— An access credential to the International Business Show at the Hilton Hotel (April 18 and 19, 2024). - If the purchased plan includes the hotel reservation, it includes the airport-hotel-airport transfer service.
