Dredheza Malok:
Acquisitions editor at Daunt Books UK; I have previously worked as Assistant Editor at Vintage, Penguin Random House, and as Editorial Assistant at Transworld, Penguin Random House. I currently work through fiction and non-fiction, with a particular interest in fiction in translation, with authors like the Chilean Nona Fernández in Daunt, and looking to acquire a more enlightening and attractive writing translated into Spanish. My origin is Kosovar-Albanian, so I am always interested in stories told in liminal spaces, addressing identity and belonging. In Vintage, I worked with the Harvill Secker team, introducing books such as Now I Surrender to You and That is All by Álvaro Enrigue and Portrait of an Unknown Lady by María Gainza.
